The Dini Group was established in 1995 as a consulting company. While developing ASIC's for various clients they saw the need for FPGA based logic emulation platforms and developed several of them. In 1998 they started selling these boards to ASIC developers and FPGA system builders. From their offices in La Jolla, CA Dini Group employees have supplied over 5 billion ASIC gates.
Founder Mike Dini has a very focused business plan: “We try to be the leader at providing logic emulation systems with the latest technologies, the fastest speed, and the largest programmable devices. Since 1998 we have helped drive the cost of an ASIC gate from more than one dollar, to less than 1/4 cent.
