As unique feature DATE is more than ever linking research work to application domains, DATE09 features a 30% increase in papers in industrial applications. Two special days will highlight two major domains: for "SoC Development Strategies" as well as for "Multicore Applications" the conference programme offers a full day of presentations and panel discussions.
By receiving a record number of contributor submissions, DATE is able to offer a programme of 77 technical sessions spread over 3 days, one full day of tutorials and one day hosting in addition to the DATE programme 8 workshops on topics closely related to the DATE programme.
Further increasing DATE's application focus, DATE09 is introducing in addition to the conference programme a special slot of 8 Special Sessions with panels, hot topic sessions and invited industrial sessions. These sessions will be open to conference delegates as well as to exhibition visitors thus further enforcing the link between research and application.
