This session consists of four presentations addressing worst case response time analysis and schedule synthesis for real-time applications.  The first paper addresses specific issues concerning synchronous reactive systems and their modular worst case timing analysis.  The second presentation proposes a new approach to analyse the system timing behaviour during mode changes, while the third paper deals with making response time analysis faster.  Finally, the fourth presentation addresses the scheduling of dynamic dataflow applications.
