This session focuses on memory-aware compiler techniques for embedded systems.  The first paper describes a thermal-aware method to optimise the static mapping of memory segments on physically stacked memory dies.  The second paper proposes a static analysis approach to determine the vulnerability to soft errors for each register in a register file.  The third paper presents a dynamic compilation framework for continuing execution of an application even if one or more memory banks become temporarily unavailable
