In only a couple of days DATE 09 in Nice will open doors for conference delegates and exhibition visitors. In addition to the comprehensive conference programme DATE 09 is offering an exhibition programme richer in content than ever before. The exhibition and the full exhibition programme as well as the opening session are open to all visitors of DATE 09 free of charge.

Keynote talks from Mike Muller (ARM) and 2007 Turing Award winner Joseph Sifakis (Verimag Laboratory) ...
are the perfect start for your DATE 09 visit. In the opening session of DATE 09 conference these outstanding keynote speakers reflect DATE's measured focus on complete system level design, addressing hardware and software challenges, and it's increasing stronger ties with key application domains.

Invited Industrial Sessions, Panels and Hot Topic Sessions ...
from the conference programme are a new offer of DATE for the exhibition visitors. Invited talks will present Practical System Design Experiences in Multimedia and Communication and show how industries are facing design challenges in their products. Another invited session on Industrial System Design Flow presents system design methodologies adopted by industries in order to face complex System on Chip challenges like model based IP design and electromagnetic compatibility.

Highlighting a high-level executives panel on 'Consolidation, a Modern "Moor of Venice" Tale', eleven hot-topic and panel sessions are offered in the Exhibition Theatre. The topics discussed include Embedded Multicore, Fabless Semiconductor Design at 65 nm and beyond, Timing Specification and Analysis in Automotive Systems, Statistical Design, Analogue Layout Synthesis, Formal Approaches to Analogue Verification as well as Open Source Hardware IP. This will be completed by testimonials presenting design experiences.

will demonstrate their products and provide you with access to their technical experts. In Nice the list of 64 exhibitors includes also 5 start-ups, which will be introduced in the Start-up Panel of the Exhibition Theatre. European Projects ...
will present the results of individual research projects and of comprehensive research programmes including a large number of projects with numerous industrial and academic project partners. The targeted applications and the utilized design methodologies will be covered as well as roadmaps for future projects.

University Booth ...
is the place where more than 60 peer-reviewed demos, respectively 47 EDA software and 16 Working Silicon presentations, will be presented by universities and research institutes to designers and researchers who are interested in applying these brand new results or are looking for academic partners being able to support their daily work. Mixed Signal, Hardware Solutions and Test, Test and Yield solutions, SoC Platform, Design and Tools for FPGA, System Exploration, High Level Synthesis, SystemC, System Analysis, Simulation and Verification sessions are planned.
